Historic Waitsfield Village is the business center of the Mad River Valley.  It contains the country shopping centers including the Mad River Green, Village Square and Bridge Street Marketplace.  But, it's not all business...

Yes, we have  Drug Store, Liquor Store, two supermarkets, three banks, two hardware stores and multiple other businesses.  No, we don't have McDonalds.  But, that's not why you came here. 

Waitsfield, Vermont, is the heart of three ski areas: Mt Ellen at Sugarbush, Lincoln Peak at Sugarbush and Mad River Glen.  It's has helped host the Sugarbush Triathlon, The Green Mountain Stage Race and numerous other sports events.  It offers the Mad River Path for walking, biking and snowshoeing and the Mad River for canoeing, kayaking and swimming.
